About the Artist

Pam Fraizer is a native of Richmond, Indiana, and was always drawn to the mysterious ruins in the Whitewater Gorge, which could be seen on her daily route to classes at Richmond Senior High School in the late 70s.  Many years later, after learning more about the history of the site, she wanted to create something to honor these music pioneers.

Legends of Whitewater Gorge is Pam's dream project—a way of bringing increased awareness to Richmond’s unique role in history and promote its important legacy.

Pam is a professional artist and graphic designer with over 30 years of experience. She has worked extensively with many Richmond non-profits (Richmond Symphony, Richmond Civic Theatre, Richmond Shakespeare Festival, Cope Environmental Center, among others).

Currently, she is a partner at Best Friend Books with educator, author and consultant, Lisa Combs. Together they have self-published more than 30 children's books that focus on social-emotional learning.
